Man screams at closed business, wants clothing

Friday, Sept. 8
+ A Shady Grove Drive resident reported to police that two males were carrying a keg of beer and walking toward Paradise Road when another neighbor scared them off.
Police responded to Robinhill Drive for a welfare check because the complainant couldn't reach her mother on the telephone. The phone had been knocked off the hook by a kitten.
On Meyer Road, a man complained that a 12-year-old youth from down the street almost shot his daughter's eye out with a BB gun.
A bank on Millersport Highway reported an intoxicated man had been in the building and left in a car.
Saturday, Sept. 9
A balding, 40-year-old man reportedly urinated on a Berryman Drive resident's front lawn.
Youth activity was reported on Sunshine Drive. Youths were reportedly playing football in the street all day, being loud, throwing garbage on lawns and hitting a speed sign.
Six youths on bikes were crashing their bikes into shopping carts in the middle of the street on Delta Road. They were advised and sent on their way.
A Robin Road resident brought marijuana and items found in his daughter's possession to police headquarters for destruction.
Sunday, Sept. 10
A Sweet Home Road resident called police when a bag of garbage and a bike were taken.
A Glen Oak Drive resident was concerned when he saw a male sitting on a swing and then lying on the ground on his back. The complainant thought the individual might be sick or intoxicated.
A motorist called police after he was unable to stop and hit several ducks with his van on Getzville Road. He was unsure if the ducks were dead or alive.
Police responded to Dodge Road after a resident complained that her neighbor was burning items in a container, and the smoke was damaging her face and house.
Monday, Sept. 11
On Yale Avenue a resident reported hearing someone in the basement moving weights. The basement, which has an outside entrance, was clear.
A Metro Bus driver reported that as he passed a man on Millersport Highway the man fell over into the grass. Police were unable to locate the man.
Suspects in a minivan were reportedly hitting mailboxes on Roxbury Park with baseball bats.
A Rosemont Drive resident had a fence post bent and the flower garden trampled.
Tuesday, Sept. 12
A Campus Drive resident told police her friend was in the house while she was gone and beat her cat. The cat was injured, and the resident wanted follow up from police.
A very loud humming noise was coming from a construction site on Kensington Avenue.
A motorist told police she has bad brakes and caused an injury accident on Main Street.
Police responded to a Sheridan Drive business where a man was yelling, screaming and pounding on the door. Police advised the man that the business was closed, and he should pick up his dry cleaning the next day.
Wednesday, Sept. 13
A Play Station 2 was taken off a front porch on Spring Meadow Drive. The suspects were a group of children playing outside.
Three females took a shopping cart from a store on Niagara Falls Boulevard without shopping at the store. They were seen pushing the cart down the road. Police were asked to tell the women to return the cart.
A Lawnwood Drive resident reported she had taken her computer in for service, and there were items missing from the computer.
A town resident had a package taken from the front porch which contained $55,000 in medical equipment.
Thursday, Sept. 14
A Wellingwood Drive resident reported a man tried to sell the complainant something and was then standing in the middle of the street. The complainant said it seemed like something was wrong with the suspect.
A Sheridan Drive store called police about a man who took candy and left. The complainant decided not to prosecute for a $1.20 candy bar.
Harassment was reported on South Harvest Street because someone put something at the door to trip workers at the toll booths. Markers were placed for underground wires that Thruway workers installed. The call was cancelled.
An assault was reported on Transit Road when an unknown male entered the alley, punched a bowler and went to the parking lot.
