Dockside Village Apartments open on Thursday

Dockside Village Apartments open on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 20 Dockside Parkway, East Amherst. One-bedroom units will be available in November 2006.

The formal opening ceremony for the Dockside Village Apartment complex will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14 at the Dockside Village Apartment clubhouse, 20 Dockside Parkway, East Amherst.

Dockside Village, located off of Transit Road between Millersport Highway and North French Road, was recently built to give residents the look and feel of individual home living.

Every apartment is more than 1,200-square-feet, and has a private, covered entrance; an oversized, attached, one-car garage; ample additional parking; and a patio or balcony.

Inside, more than 1,200 square feet of living space offers storage space with walk-in closets in the entryway and master suite, as well as a utility room with a full-size, side-by-side washer and dryer.

The apartments are carpeted throughout and have two ceramic tiled, full bathrooms. The kitchen comes complete with a pantry, microwave, gas stove, refrigerator with ice maker, double-welled sink with disposal and a dishwasher. There are also separate dining spaces and the living room features a gas fireplace.

Residents also have full access to the community clubhouse that includes an in-ground pool and exercise facility.
