Katherine "Kay" Seitz, 89, a long-time Amherst resident, real estate broker and owner of Katherine Seitz Homes, specializing in commercial leases for fast food restaurants, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2006, at Canterbury Woods.

In the 1940s, Ms. Seitz was secretary to Buffalo Bills coach Red Dawson. At one time, she was an Advance Advertising representative for the Ice Follies.

Ms. Seitz traveled extensively around the world and was an avid golfer. She was a long-time member of Christ United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of Brookfield Country Club.

Ms. Seitz is survived by her brother, Robert Seitz.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 9 at Brookfield Country Club, 5120 Shimerville Road, Clarence.
