IN THE HALL
 | | IN THE HALL - Former Sweet Home gymnast Jacqueline A. Brummer, Esq., first row middle, was inducted into the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame last Thursday at the annual convention held at the Holiday Inn in Grand Island. Brummer participated in varsity gymnastics at Sweet Home High School from 1977-1982, setting numerous records, many of which still stand today. In 1986, she won a NCAA title in all-around and balance beam at Arizona State University, setting national records. After graduation from ASU in 1986, Brummer traveled with Kurt Thomas Gymnastics America U.S. Tour, mentoring for the USAG National Team, and even acting as a stunt woman in Hollywood. Also inducted were first row left, Robert Kersch (Section IX), first row right, Mike Messere (Section III) and second row, far left, Paul Weatherup (Section III), Kenmore West graduate Drake Francescone (coach at City Honors), and Tom Hall (Section III). |
