The Stealth 13U elite travel baseball team will be holding open tryouts for the 2007 season from 3 to 6 p.m. Sundays, Sept. 10 and 24, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17, at Clarence Town Park, 5400 Goodrich Road.

The Stealth's program includes winter sports training and development, a spring Florida trip and participation in several local and regional tournaments. The Stealth plays approximately

50 games in the season. All potential players must be 13 years of age or younger on May 1, 2007.

A competitive 14U travel baseball team is looking for a few players to complete its roster for the 2007 season. Candidates must be 14 years of age or younger on April 30, 2007. For more information, call Joe at 698-2041.

Inferno Baseball and Diamond Girls Softball will hold tryouts for 2007 elite travel teams for boys and girls ages 9 through 17 in late August and September at various locations throughout Western

Michael Kerman used a 5-iron on Aug. 17 to sink a hole in one on the No. 3 hole at Audubon 18-Hole Course.

Double T Archery Club will have its fall "Walk-on Wednesdays" Sept. 6 through Oct. 11. Non-members are invited to use the practice range (15 feet to 80 yards), broadhead pit, and shoot the 20 target 3D course (practice for target arrows). All these ranges are open during daylight hours on these Wednesdays and utilized for a $5. fee. Double T Archery Club is located at 1110 North French Road, Amherst. The Western New York Stars, an Independent 12-year old travel baseball team, will hold open tryouts on August 26 and September 10 for the 2007 season.
