Young boy calls 911 looking for friend

Friday, Aug. 11

+ A report of a woman screaming for help turned out to be a children's party on Meyer Road.

 Three males were charged on Paradise Road for throwing something onto an off duty officer's windshield, causing it to crack.

 Two males on bicycles were reportedly playing "chicken" with passing cars on Longmeadow Road.

 Harassment was reported on Niagara Falls Boulevard when a man reported that another man harassed him for supposedly looking at the subject's wife in the wrong way.

 A bicycle seat was stolen on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

Saturday, Aug. 12

 A woman reported that she ran over a town barricade on Buckeye Road and damaged her car.

 Someone reported that a person on a motorcycle was doing "wheelies" with a passenger on the back on Transit Road.

 A 2-year-old child wearing only diapers was spotted walking

alone on Hartford Road pushing a stroller. She had walked away from the side yard where the other children were playing.

 A woman who was not served at a Millersport Highway bar, passed out on the side of the building.

 A former employee of a Sheridan Drive business was reportedly at the location, threatening the new employee.

Sunday, Aug. 13

 A man reported that a magnetic sign was stolen from his vehicle on Brenridge Drive.

 Harassment was reported on Transit Road when youths pulled another young person out of a fast food restaurant, put him in a sport utility vehicle, took off all his clothes except his boxer shorts, and made him go back into the restaurant. The youths then left in the SUV, and the boy in the boxers left in another vehicle.

 Two 18-packs of beer were stolen from a Maple Road store, reportedly by an 18-year-old man who ran to a vehicle that had two children waiting inside.

 A man reported that a dog attacked his vehicle on Daisy Lane, ripping up the leather seats. No injuries were reported, and two scratches were on the seats.

 A pop machine on Niagara Falls Boulevard was ripped apart and the cash removed.

Monday, Aug. 14

 The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was notified of a large, injured hawk on a front lawn on Troy Del Way.

 A raccoon was stuck in a sewer on Windsor Court.

 A Dodge Road resident complained that his "Wal-Mart Yes" sign had been torn up for the second time in two days. He has an endless supply of such signs.

 A report was filed when eggs were thrown at the complainant's car on Maynard Drive. The perpetrator was supposedly an ex-girlfriend.

Tuesday, Aug. 15

 A person reported that a contractor left two full gas cans and bags of concrete out in the open on Maple Road.

 An insulin-dependent female had locked herself out of the house and needed medication on Hidden Ridge Common.

 A South Forest Road resident reported that a utility company's employees entered the house without permission and ransacked the appliances.

 A motorist complained that youths were running into the street and squirting water at passing cars on Vine Lane.

 A 911 call was placed from North Autumn Street by a 5-year-old child who was crying and looking for his friend.

Wednesday, Aug. 16  A group of youths were reportedly lying in the street on Longmeadow Road and then running when cars approached.

 A neighbor dispute was reported on Surrey Run when a woman was refusing to return balls that had landed in her yard. The balls came from children playing next door.

 A handheld register scanner was stolen from a store on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

 An employee fired from a Niagara Falls Boulevard company was refusing to return a set of keys. All parties were advised by police.

 A Treebrooke Court resident complained that children on the street were being loud, and every morning there is broken glass in the street.

Thursday, Aug. 17

 A woman on Sausalito Drive was concerned when a man she did not know was ringing her doorbell. Someone reportedly ordered food for the resident without her knowledge, and the restaurant was going to pick up the food.

 A group of teens reportedly trashed five cars on Bernhardt Drive with mustard.

 A woman complained that a young driver almost hit her and her dog on Carriage Hill East because he was driving all over the road.

 A heavyset male was reportedly trying to get into houses on Brian Avenue while selling magazines.
