Make-A-Wish, helping dreams come true

Lacie, a 12 year old from Fort Lauderdale, was brought to Williamsville to make her wish come true.

Lacie suffers from Emery Dreifuss, which is a form of Muscular Dystrophy. The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western New York brought Lacie and her family to the Hamburg Fairgrounds where she met and sang with her all-time favorite pop artist, Jessie McCartney.

She received "star treatment" at Capellos Salon and Day Spa, which gave her a makeover before the Aug. 16 event.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation is located at 5554 Main St. in Williamsville and grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
