Ocean Edge Resort site of evening wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Small

Ashley Rae Steinkirchner married Michael J. Small in an evening ceremony on Sunday, May 28, 2006 at the Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, Mass. The Rev. Kent Moorehead officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Donna and Lawrence Steinkirchner of Glenwood, N.Y. The groom is the son of Muriel and John Small of Amherst.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a white, strapless, multitiered, A-line gown with a crystal beaded bodice and chapel-length train. She wore an elbow-length veil with matching crystals, and carried white peonies surrounded by variegated hosta leaves.

The maid of honor was Sunday Steinkirchner, sister of the bride. The bridesmaid was Marianne McEwan, friend of the bride.

The best man was Fred Chamberlain, friend of the groom. The groomsman was Paul Webster, friend of the groom. The ushers were Grant Stejbach, cousin of the bride, and Josh Mann, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at the Ocean Edge Carriage House Terrace.

After a honeymoon in Honolulu, the couple is at home in Amherst.
