Children of bride, groom participate in ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Andzik
Virginia T. Schwallie married Frank J. Andzik in an afternoon ceremony on Friday, Aug. 18, 2006 at First Presbyterian Church in Buffalo. The Rev. John R. Long officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dorothy Borowicz of Cheektowaga and the late Edward Borowicz. The groom is the son of Elizabeth M. Andzik of Amherst and the late Frank J. Andzik Sr.

The bride was escorted by her sons, Michael C. and Kevin A. Schwallie.

She wore an ivory, sleeveless, Victorian gown with a pearl-trimmed bodice, as well as her mother's heirloom pearls. She carried a bouquet of miniature calla lilies.

The maid of honor was Jennifer M. Schwallie, daughter of the bride. The bridesmaids were Elaine Frey, cousin of the bride, and Erin Presler, friend of the bride.

The best men were Aaron D. and Kevin N. Andzik, sons of the groom. The ushers were David J. Kish, nephew of the groom, and William H. Fike Jr., friend of the groom. The ring bearer was Luke Toups, great-nephew of the groom.

A reception was held at Samuel's Grande Manor in Williamsville. After a honeymoon in Northern California, the couple will reside in Williamsville.
