Caribbean cruise planned

Michelle Higgins married Timothy J. Wnek on Saturday July 15, 2006 at the Expressway Assembly of God in Buffalo. The Rev. Tom Poulin officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Joan and Michael Calkins of Hamburg. The groom is the son of the late Julia and Jack Wnek.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The bride wore a formal beaded gown with a train and carried lilac and purple flowers.

The maid of honor was Maureen Dimora, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Lindsey and Shauna Higgins, daughters of the bride. The flower girl was Mary Wnek, niece of the groom.

The best man was George Wnek, brother of the groom. The ushers were Greg Wnek, brother of the groom, and Colin Higgins, son of the bride. The ring bearer was Seth Calkins, nephew of the bride.

A reception was was held at Father Baker Knights of Columbus.

After a honeymoon weekend in Niagara Falls, the couple is at home in Buffalo. They will take a Caribbean cruise in October.
