Tim Hartigan, a 2006 graduate from St. Gregory the Great School, was honored with the The Reverend Pedro Arrupe, S.J. Award for Service from Canisius High School. He was recognized on July 27. The award is given to a student who demonstrates the principles that Canisius High School strives to teach each student. Defined as a "man for others," the award recipient demonstrated development of their own talents, while providing service for others. The award includes a $500 scholarship to Canisius High School for their freshman year.
