Bride carries roses, Gerbera daises

Mr. and Mrs. Keith B. Merkel

Christine M. Cramer married Keith B. Merkel in an afternoon ceremony on Aug. 5, 2006 at the Church of the Transfiguration in Pittsford, N.Y. The Rev. Michael Bausch officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mary L. and Paul J. Cramer of Cheektowaga. The groom is the son of Elizabeth and James Merkel of Rochester.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a diamond-white satin gown with an empire waist and v-neck bodice and a chapel-length train. She wore a fingertip length veil and carried red roses and red Gerbera daisies.

The matron of honor was Cathleen Larson, siter of the bride. The bridesmaids were Leigh Aitcheson and Heather DeMao, friends of the bride. The junior bridesmaid was Britainny Andrews, and the flower girl was MacKenzie Merkel. Both are nieces of the groom.

The best man was Kevin Merkel, brother of the groom. The ushers were Gregg Messenger and Stephen Bisgrove, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at the Inn on Broadway in Rochester.

After a honeymoon in California, the couple will be at home in Rochester.
