It's back to school for South students

School's been out for summer. It's that time of year when students prepare to go back to the class room setting.

Williamsville South High School student schedules will be mailed out on or before Friday, Aug. 18. Families who don't receive the back-to-school information by Aug. 28 should call the main office at 626-8200.

New student registration is being conducted through out the summer. Call the counseling office at 626-8210 to schedule an appointment. Students who live outside designated boundaries may not register without prior approval from the district offices.

The annual Williamsville South Student Congress sponsored Freshmen/ New Student, grades 10 through 12, orientation will be held from 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30. Students will receive their final schedule of classes and lockers. A PTSA sponsored pizza party will be held from 12:30 to 1 p.m.

A Freshmen/New Student orientation for parents will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18 from 7 to 8:15 p.m. in the auditorium. Freshmen and new students who cannot attend the orientation session must report to the cafeteria between 1 and 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5. For more information, call the main office at 626-8200.
