Boulevard Mall adds new stores, restaurants

The Boulevard Mall will welcome the addition of three new sit-down restaurants to its current mix of 120 stores.

The area's first Bonefish Grill, will occupy 5,210-square-feet of space in the former location of Laux Sporting Goods and Easy Spirit inside the main entrance of the mall. Bonefish Grill originated in St. Petersburg, Fla. in 2000 and quickly grew around the country. Bonefish Grill is known for fresh seafood flown in daily and cooked over a wood-burning grill. It is slated to open in December 2006.

Johnny Rockets, associated with American favorites, such as hamburgers, hand-dipped shakes, malts and freshly-baked apple pie, is set in a diner-type atmosphere. The restaurant will open in October 2006 in 2,797-square-feet of space in the former Radio Shack store.

The third restaurant to join Boulevard Mall is Grand Buffet, an Asian/American-style buffet restaurant. Grand Buffet will occupy 6,953-square-feet of space in the former Funny Bone Comedy Club, which has been vacant since 2001. Grand Buffet will also open in October.

New restaurant additions to the mall's food court will include Cajun Quarter and Dunkin Doughnuts/ Baskin Robbins, opening in August and China Max, opening in December. Blue Wireless recently re-located to the food court. Mastercuts Hair Salon will also open in August in the former Aussie T store.

Recent store remodels include Littman Jewelers, GNC and Victoria's Secret. Other changes include the relocations of Laux Sporting Goods and Radio Shack. Mall officials also announced the renovation of the exterior of the mall, which will include new entrances, signage and landscaping.
