Ring Masters to play

The Ring Masters of Western New York, a community Handbell ensemble, will be in concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 19 at Calvary Episcopal Church, 20 Milton St. in Williamsville. They will be under the direction of Gloria Werblow. The Carillon portion will begin at 7 p.m. and the Ring Masters will follow at 8 p.m.

The Billy McEwen band sponsored by Elderwood will replace Lance Diamond who was scheduled to perform at Bassett Park at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 20.

Rotary club to host event
The Rotary Clubs of Williamsville, Amherst South, North and East, will host their first "Four Club Event" for 2006. The family fun event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 23 at the Amherst Pepsi Center, 1615 Amherst Manor Drive. The day will showcase a classic car show and a chicken barbecue from the Bijou Cafe. For tickets, call 743-5006. The Sisters of St. Francis in Williamsville will host a special reunion for the alumni and faculty of St. Nicholas and Bishop O'Hearn high schools Saturday, July 29 at their motherhouse in Williamsville. A Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. in their chapel at St. Mary of the Angels, 201 Reist St. in Williamsville. A reception will immediately follow in their community room. Many of the sisters are anxious to visit with former students and classmates.
