Judith Katz of Williamsville was named president of Erie 1 BOCES Board of Education during the reorganizational meeting held on July 12.

Susan Seep of Amherst and a student at St. Mary's Elementary School was honored with the Good Citizenship Award from the Abigail Fillmore Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
