Cousin officiates at nuptials
Arika Jennifer Miller married Robert Scott Pevenstein in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the Church of Christ the King in Snyder. The Rev. William R. Tuyn, cousin of the bride, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Nancy Tuyn Forman and Warren D. Miller Jr., both of Williamsville. The groom is the son of Elaine and Robert L. Pevenstein of Hunt Valley, Md.
The bride was escorted by her father and her stepfather, James C. Forman.
The bride wore a strapless, ivory satin gown with a sweep train and a two-tier, ivory fingertip length veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of white Casablanca lilies with white Dendrobium orchids and Italian ruscus.
The maid of honor was Andrea Miller, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Karen Pevenstein, sister of the groom; Bridget Bonner, goddaughter of the groom; and Jenny Brennan, Christie Sparks, Lori Butters, Laura Kling, Alexandra Holden, Garland Schmidt and Katy Spencer, friends of the bride. The flower girls were Lydia Miller, sister of the bride, and Lauren Lawson, cousin of the bride.
The best man was Robert Pevenstein, father of the groom. The ushers were John Bonner, cousin of the groom; and Peter Rothemund, Alex Bohorquez, John Balcerzak, Mark Demascole, Evan Kaplow, Mark Palmer and Joseph Sachetti, friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Thomas Miller, brother of the bride.
A reception was held at the Country Club of Buffalo.
After a honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple will reside in Baltimore.
