Couple marks 50th anniversary with cruise around Hawaii

Mr. and Mrs. William A. Hughes William A. and Patricia A. Hughes of West Seneca celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands and will continue their celebration this summer with family and friends.

William Hughes and the former Patricia Ann Whitley were married June 9, 1956 at St. Stephen's Church in Buffalo.

William is a retired electrician from Bethlehem Steel and General Motors - Delphi Harrison in Lockport. He is an avid sportsman.

Patricia is a retired secretary from the Diocese of Buffalo.

The couple are members of the Buffalo Bills Quarterback and Booster Club organizations.
