Howard J. Doueck, of Snyder, was recently named associate dean for research at the State University of New York at Buffalo’s School of Social Work.

Doueck is a professor of social work at the school. A member of the social work faculty since 1986, Doueck is a nationally recognized expert on child abuse and risk assessment.

Doueck received his doctorate and master of social work degrees from the University of Washington.
