EnergyMark LLC purchases assets, expands market
      EnergyMark LLC has recently purchased certain New York and Pennsylvania assets of Constellation NewEnergy-Gas Division, a subsidiary of Constellation Energy Group. EnergyMark is a partnership of South Jersey Energy Solutions, headquartered in Folsom, N.J., and MW Energy, which is in Amherst. MW Energy is owned by entrepreneurs Gary Marchiori and Timothy Wright.

Doctor to offer cataract surgeries to patients in need
      Cataract surgery will be offered to any uninsured Western New York resident in October at an Amherst eye institute as part of the second annual “Eyes on America Day.” Cataract Surgeon Dr. Kenneth D. Anthone will be performing approximately 20 to 25 eye surgeries from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23 at Anthone Eye Center, 170 Maple Road.

      The New York State Public Service Commission recently announced the redesign of its website to better provide consumers ways to competitively shop for electricity and natural gas suppliers. Energy bills in New York consist of two parts: supply and delivery. The supply can be purchased from either a local electric or gas utility or another company.
