Maple Road church preparing for move to new building

      Evangel Assembly of God will soon be moving a mile and a half down the street from its 1800 Maple Road location to 8180 Greiner Road in Clarence. The new facility, which was formerly used by Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church, seats about 600, while Evangel’s current location seats only about 375.

Amherst’s Got Talent selects contest winners
      The Amherst’s Got Talent competition, co-sponsored by the Amherst Youth Board and the Boulevard Mall, held its finals on Saturday, March 13. The winner was Erin Sydney Welsh, a 14 year old from Clarence. Erin performed an original song titled “Experience.” Erin attends Clarence Middle School and plays guitar and piano, in addition to writing songs.
