      Howard A. Peacock, 82, of Ashville, N.Y., formerly of the Buffalo area, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at his home. Mr. Peacock was born March 18, 1927, in Buffalo and attended Kensington High School. He was a medic in the U.S. Navy and while in the service, received his GED.

      BENNETT, Maxwell, of the Amherst area, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010. He is survived by his sons, Paul, Daniel and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; brother, Bernard; and sisters, May and Doris. A service was held Jan. 23 at Dengler, Roberts, Perna Funeral Home.
